Lili Wilkinson

Lili is the author of nine books, including Scatter heart, pink and The Boundless Sublime. She has her PhD in creative writing from the university of Melbourne. And she spends a lot of her time read and writing for the teenage age bracket. She was born in Melbourne Australia, where she is the only child of her two parents, of which she loves. She was employed by the Centre for Youth Literature at the State library of Victoria after she completed university.

Her books have been published in many countries including Australia, Germany, the UK, the US and Italy just to name a few. A few of her biggest and greatest achievements include winning the Ena Noel Prize for Scatter heart, getting a standing ovation from 2000 kids in Adelaide and selling my first book to the US.

Oliver Phommavanh

 

When Oliver was in school, his teachers told him that he needed to grow up and become more mature, but Oliver had a better idea. He realised that he could be the exact same and didnt have to change, while writing novels for young adults. 

Oliver grew up in the west of Sydney Australia, where in highschool he participated in speaking competitions and debates. The things that Oliver did while in high school reflected his true talents and what he was capable of. He attended the University of Western Sydney where Oliver completed his writing degree, but that didnt finish there. Once he had completed this he went over to the University of Syndey where he studied education to become a teacher. 

Oliver writes novel that relate to young adult literature. His books are used all around Australia in school and their english classes.

    Kate McCaffrey

    Kate McCaffrey specializes in young adult fiction. She lives in western Australia with her two daughter, her cat and a Maltese Shih Tzu.

    Kate expresses her self in a literaure way every day when she educates the students of Sacred Heart College. This allows for her to appeal and understand the minds of young adult literature. Ten years after her first young-adult novel Destroying Avalon hit the shelves, and with three more between it and her new offering Saving Jazz, McCaffrey said she tried to write stories and characters that teenage readers could relate to.

    She has been the winner of the Australian Families Therapists Award For Children Literature three times (2007, 2008, 2015). Along with other achievements based on her writings.

    Jennifer Donnelly



    Jennifer Donnelly is an American writer that focuses on young adult fiction. She is most commonly known for her historical novel A Nothern Light. Jennifer was born in Port Chester in New York. Her parents were originally from Dublin, Ireland before they moved over to the USA to live in New York. Jennifer currently lives in New York with her husband and daughter. 

    Donnelly attended the University of Rochester , majoring in English Literature and European History and graduating magna cum laude with distinction in English Literature. She also attended Birkbeck College, University of London, in England.
